Will this catch win the Bug-Catching Contest?

The National Park contest announces three winners and never shows a number. The judges work one out all the same: your catch's max HP counts four times, its five other stats once each, then a bonus drawn from its hidden values, then the HP it has left. Give it what the screen showed you and it returns the score and the placing it is worth. The bonus is spelled out further down, for anyone who wants it.

What to hunt for

The ten species the contest can hand you, with the score they reach at the top of their level range and their DVs. Only two of them clear the rivals' ceiling.

What the rivals do

Ten contestants exist, five drawn at random turn up. Each brings one of its three catches, all equally likely, and the game adds 0 to 7 points to its score. None of it is worked out from a capture: the scores are written into the game.
