How to get one
No encounter table gives it, on any of the six cartridges. So the game hands it over some other way: a starter, a gift, a fossil, an egg, the Game Corner, a fixed battle or a standing legendary. The site does not index those sources and will not guess which one it is.

- Squirtle becomes Wartortle at level 16.
What it becomes
- Wartortle becomes Blastoise at level 36.
